I can help you

Taking the first step to your new beginning.

Coaching, unlike therapy, is action oriented. Clients are often surprised at how many “ah-ha” moments they have and how much value they get, even from their very first session.

What’s the first step?

It all starts with a free 40-minute phone consultation, this allows me to assess your needs and gives you a chance to get comfortable with me as a coach. No pressure.

How long does it take?

I ask new clients to commit to four weeks, with one 90-minute session each week and ‘accountability’ texts in between sessions. This is when all the fundamental learning and change happens.

What happens after?

It’s up to you. If you find yourself wanting to dig deeper or feel you could benefit from occasional check-ins, I’ll be there for you.

Learning to turn your challenges into strengths.

‘Normal’ people think in a linear way.

Neurotypicals, who make up approximately 80% of the population, plan and execute things in what many ADHD-ers think of as a frustratingly step-by-step manner. Most neurotypicals have grown up in schools tailored to their linear way of thinking. They can navigate distractions more easily making it easier to concentrate on mundane tasks.

Our ADHD brains think panoramically.

Our minds are super-fast. We take in roughly 10X more stimuli and information than neurotypicals do. Everything is spread out in the forefront for us; sights, sounds, smells, touch, even other people’s emotions. It is one of our great strengths; allowing us to connect the dots quickly and find patterns others often miss. In the wrong environment this can be overwhelming. And for the same reason, we often find ourselves putting things off to the last minute, and feeling bored and restless. This, along with our impulsive nature, can make staying focused and organized to accomplish tasks or to meet deadlines feel nearly impossible.
